PAS-SO

The Plein Air Society of Southern OregonPAS-SO”
is dedicated to the challenge and pleasure of painting on location, outdoors,
in our beautiful Southern Oregon and Rogue River Valley.

Our goal is to bring active plein-air artists together to explore
and develop the tradition of plein-air painting, and to become better artists.
We will promote an awareness and appreciation of our art
by displaying and selling them in exhibitions and on the
PAS-SO website.

"Location painting can be about the finished product but it's often about that moment and what you can take away from that experience that then changes you in the future as a painter.   It all becomes subconscious memory and we really do become intuitive painters at some point"
